Raymond Rodmaker

President | Moores Hill - District 1

Raymond has served on the board of Southeastern Indiana Rural Telephone since 2009 and currently serves as President. Raymond and his wife, Sharon, have been married for 53 years. They have two children, Eddie and Mary, and one granddaughter, Ava Raye. Raymond is retired from the Kroger Company and is a veteran of the United States Navy where he served eight and a half years. He also served six years on the Moores Hill Town Board and coached basketball for 21 years at Moores Hill school. Raymond currently serves on the Dearborn County Environmental Management Advisory Council, is a part of the Southeastern Indiana Honor Guard, and has been a member of the American Legion for 54 years and the Vietnam Veterans Chapter for 14 years.

Raymond has been on the SIRTC Board for 16 years and is on 4 committees within the board. He has attended many seminars for business and knowledge to help represent SIRTC and also keeps up with all the new and exciting changes and technology.

Patty Wullenweber

Vice President | San Jacinto - District 3

Patty has served on the board of Southeastern Indiana Rural Telephone since 2016 and currently serves as Vice President. Patty and her husband, Clarence, have lived in SIRTC’s territory throughout their 41 years of marriage. Clarence presently serves as the Market Master for the Jennings County Farmer’s Market. Patty has three grown children and eleven grandchildren who live in Aurora, Moores Hill, and San Antonio, TX. She has a significant amount of personal and professional experience, such as 25 years in personal and commercial banking. Patty served 13 years in direct customer service and 12 years in customer service supervision before retiring from Old National Bank (formerly Indiana Bank & Trust and Home Federal Bank). She also worked for the Jennings County Health Department. Patty retired from law enforcement at the Jennings County Probation Office, where she was employed for 6 years.

Patty has been on the SIRTC Board for 9 years and currently serves on the SEI Negotiating committee along with the Budget & Planning committee.

Edward Taylor

Canaan - District 1

Edward has served on the board of Southeastern Indiana Rural Telephone since 1991. Edward and his wife, Madelaine, are very active in their community. He has been elected to the Jefferson County Council at Large and the 4-H Fair Board. Edward is also a past Master of his Masonic Lodge and a member of the Canaan Volunteer Fire Department and the Indian-Kentuck Baptist Church since 1943. He also received the highest civilian award in Indiana, the Sagamore of the Wabash, from our Governor.

Edward is retired after 37 years of teaching Science and was the Director of Guidance. He earned his B.S. from Purdue University and his M.S. from Indiana University. He also served for four years on the Indiana State Board of Education.

Ed Dalton

Secretary/Treasurer | Cross Plains - District 1

Ed has served on the board of Southeastern Indiana Rural Telephone since 2013 and currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer. He was a long time Northern Ky resident and settled in Indiana in 1984 where he married Cheryl, his wife of 39 years. They have three adult children, six grandchildren, and one great-grandson. In the past, Ed has worked in the entertainment industry as a sound and lightning technician and as a graphic artist for clients such as GE and Procter & Gamble. He also worked at SEI Communications for 17 years in many roles – SEI Data manager, graphic design and advertising, wireless installation and technical support.

In addition to being on the SIRTC Board for 12 years, Ed is also a member of Mt Tabor Methodist Church, the Dillsboro Civic Club, Canaan Masonic Lodge #581 and the South East Indiana Wood Turners and likes all things wood.

Ed Hutchinson

Moores Hill – District 2

Ed has served on the board of Southeastern Indiana Rural Telephone since 2021. Ed and his wife, Ann, have been married for 36 years and have one son, Sam. They have lived in Moores Hill for 27 years and are members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora, IN. Their son and his wife, Amanda, welcomed a baby boy in July 2024. Ed enjoys hunting, golfing, and spending time with his family.

Ed attended grade school at Moores Hill Elementary and St. Mary’s in Aurora and is a 1984 graduate of South Dearborn High School. He spent his entire career in the commercial roofing business, owning and operating his own business from 1994 until his retirement in 2023. He currently works part time as an Estimator/Consultant for a local roofing contractor.

Ed has enjoyed his time on the board for the last four years and looks forward to being a part of the board’s efforts to continue the growth and expansion of the co-op in the years ahead.

Robert D. Russell

Moores Hill – District 3

Robert has served on the board of Southeastern Indiana Rural Telephone since 2017. Robert and his wife, Renee, live on their family farm in Moores Hill where they raise cattle. Robert has one daughter, Morgan, presently working in the healthcare industry. Robert graduated from Ball State University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business in 1988. He has been employed with Belcan Engineering Services as a Senior Technical Recruiter for the past 29 years and is an experienced business professional who communicates daily with technology experts across a wide spectrum of industries. Robert describes himself as easy-going by nature, but direct and decisive when making tough business decisions.

While being a director for the past 8 years, Robert has gained extensive knowledge of the telecommunications and broadband industries. His vision is to improve internet and voice services to all members while adapting to changes in a highly regulated industry.

Bonnie Peetz

Cross Plains – District 2

Bonnie has served on the board of Southeastern Indiana Rural Telephone since 2012. She has two children, Brenden, age 24, and Kyla, age 22. Bonnie has been employed by Batesville Casket in Batesville, IN for 13 years. She was a Sales Representative in the Technology Solutions department for 3 years, offering technology solutions to funeral homes across the United States and Canada. For the last 9 years, she has been a Sales Representative offering burial solutions to funeral homes in the Southern Region of the US. In addition to her career at Batesville Casket, Bonnie also started working as an Equine Insurance Specialist for Markel Inc. offering Farm and Equine Insurance products. Prior to these positions, she was employed at MainSource Bank in Versailles, IN and served as the Branch Manager for 7 years.

Before starting her career, Bonnie graduated from South Ripley High School and went on to earn her associates degree from Ball State University. From 2005-2013, she served on the Board of Directors as the Treasurer of the Ripley County Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, she served as a Board Member for the Ripley County Community Foundation for 3 years and was a member of the Versailles Lions Club for 6 years.

Jamie J. Laufer

San Jacinto – District 2

Jamie has served on the board of Southeastern Indiana Rural Telephone since 2017. Jamie and his wife, Jaime S. Laufer, have been married for 21 years and have two children, Layne and Emma, ages 19 and 17 respectively. The Laufer family enjoys archery, racing, and spending time with friends and family.

Jamie graduated from Madison Consolidated High School in 1993 and is a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having served from 1996 until 2000. Jamie currently serves as Project Manager with Taylor Bros. Construction, where he has been employed since 2022. Since launching and growing his own custom metalworks business, Dezign2Fit, in 2016, Jamie has gained valuable small business experience firsthand. While serving on the board, Jamie also volunteers his time to the Deputy Deadeyes Archery team and coaching Little League since 2015.

Brenda and her husband, Ryan, have been married for 24 years and have two children: Reece, age 23, and Karah, age 17. She has lived in Dupont all of her life and attends Wirt Baptist Church.

Brenda graduated from Madison Consolidated High School and soon after started her career in the healthcare field. She currently works in insurance and billing at the Eye Care Group in Madison, where she has been employed for the past 15 years. When she is not at work, Brenda enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors.
